Sometimes I understand the rules around here (you know safety and all that), but sometimes I really don’t!!
Take this one as an example – No Snoopy on the Bed!
I’m trying to be understanding about this. So I figure at night it could be a bit of a squeeze as I’m not that small and like to stretch! But I’ve noticed all day the bed’s not doing anything.
Why can’t I hang out on the bed in the daytime? If Mum and Dad wanted my
bed I’d happily share it. If I could go on their bed I could even check I left no fur behind (ok, that might be tough)……I’m sure there are other Dogs who are allowed on the bed?
Look how cute I can be AND I'm not leaving any mess.....go on, let me stay?

I agree with you, Snoopy! I’m allowed on MT’s and my mommy and daddy’s bed, but only if someone is in there with me at the time. I sort of like to pull the bed covers down (that are always on during the day), and mommy hates fur under the covers. I guess it’s better than nothing, huh? Maybe you could strike up some sort of deal to keep you on the bed?

I’m allowed on Mama and Daddy’s Bed but they complain that I hog it. I have two beds in their room. One with them at the foot of it and one in a basket on the floor. Sometimes they fidget too much. I can jump down and sleep all snuggly wuggily in my bed. Humans are funny. Sometimes I wish I could sleep in another room… theymake funny noises when they sleep. Very loud noises. Oh well.

Tell them that you are keeping it warm for them so it is not cold when they get in at night. Then maybe they will let you. Happy Wednesday!

Don’t feel bad. Chunyo’s not allowed on our bed. We wouldn’t mind but we know that he would try to take over! We’ve experimented a few times

My dogs are allowed on the bed – but only on top of the covers! I hate dog hair in my sheets (and my dogs have short, spikey hair, not long, soft hair like yours).
It’s a struggle – I hate itchy sheets but I love to snuggle with my pups!

Everyone’s allowed on the beds in our house, Snoopy. Cats, dog, whoever. We keep thinking we need to buy a bigger one to accommodate everyone so we can all get a little stretching room. Darby helped by moving into the guest bed most nights, but there’s still two out of the three cats who sleep with us every night.
As far as the hair goes, it’s already everywhere else in the house…what’s a few more in bed?

It sounds to me like it’s a purfect set up in your house. To be honest, I’d probably be like Darby and if they LET me on the bed, then I’d want to sleep somewhere else – tee hee – I like to be independent, Mum calls it stubborn?

Makes perfect sense to me, Snoopy! Roxie, our large dog, sleeps on a dog bed in the floor every night, but the second I get up in the morning she takes my spot.
I can’t argue with her. She’s welcome to it. Good luck my Snoopy friend!

Awww, you should definitely be allowed on the bed
Don’t worry. Your still young. Your parents will break sooner or later. When we first got Bailey we used to swear up and down that he would not be allowed on the bed… now he sleeps with us at night (if he chooses, he likes to move around and sleeps part of the night in our bed, part in his) and sleeps in it during the day. Every single day when I come home from work, he is in our bed.
