For anyone one celebrating 4th July, I hope you’re having a fun day!!
I’ve been having a 4th July party weekend!
On Saturday I travelled to see one of my fun Doggy friends Sadie. Her family were having a 4th July party, combined with a new baby party, combined with a happy birthday party for their 10year old daughter – it was lots of fun!!
We always have so much fun together, she likes to play rough and tumble – yay! Mum said I had to take it easy as I still have my stitches in, I was worried Sadie wouldn’t recognise me in this silly cone!

I did manage to get some ‘Cone off’ time! Well, it was a party!
Sadie had lots to show me in the garden.......
What we didn’t expect to find was another Dog!!

Charlie wanted to join the party, he was really friendly. He just turned up, someone said he’d been wandering around outside their house earlier! Mum checked his collar and luckily there was a number on his Tag.
His owner hadn’t noticed he was missing. They quickly came to collect him, so we didn’t even get to play – Doh! At least Charlie got to go home, especially as the fireworks had just started!
This is the second Dog we’ve found in only a few months, remember Willie? - it just shows how important it is that we have a phone number on our Tags so we can be returned quickly if we’re lost!
I think we’re having some fireworks in our street tonight and a really busy day including a parade! So far, I’ve been totally cool about the fireworks, but I guess we’ll see when there’s lots of them going off! 
I was fine last year when I was just a little puppy. Wags to all the Dogs out there who are scared of fireworks though

What a great party you had! Sadie has a wonderful garden and that was so nice that Charlie wandered off wanting to attend your party too! BOL!!

Glad you are having a great weekend. Mommy and I are just kicking back, relaxing and baking cookies. Go figure, she picks the hottest day of the year to bake treats. I’m not going to complain!
