Snoopy the Referee

I know this is Wordless Wednesday, BUT, I just want to quickly explain why I felt the need to climb on top of the table at the Park.

Mum was surprised as I’ve never done it before, but you see, we went to the Park the other night with the kids as they’d just got a new Soccer/Football (everyone’s debating what it’s called?).

I decided I would be the referee, so I needed a good vantage point, right?!  I thought it was pretty obvious! :)

Oooops, I think that was a foul! I wish I had a whistle! :)

I hope you enjoy Wordless Wednesday, I’ll post the link once it’s available for the other pet blogs if you’d like to hop around and visit some! Have fun :)

Woof! Woof! I do often go on parks picnic tables too. Hope you got a good view of the game. Happy Wordless Wednesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

    • Snoopy says:

      Hi Sugar,

You’re so much wiser than me, I should just ask you what all the cool things to do are, I had to work this out all on my own! :)

      Glad you’re having fun too!

      Snoops :)

Sometimes that’s my safe place–it it yours too?

    • Snoopy says:

      Hey Sage,

You’d think it was safe, but everyone in the park could see me and before long I heard kids saying “It is Snoopy!” – then I was mobbed, but that’s cool cos I love all the attention, it just made it harder to focus on my refereeing responsibilities! :)

I hope you’re having a fun day too,

      Snoops :)

If you’re going to be the ref, I think your mom needs to buy you a hat and a whistle ;)

      Hi Vicky,

A hat and a whistle?! That doesn’t sound too bad, Mum said she could dress me up in a big stripey jersey, I think that’s going a little too far!? :)

      Wags to Darby,

      Snoops :)

  6. Pepper says:

    Hi Snoopy,
my name is Pepper and I’m a Bearded Collie like you. I love you blog and I’m checking every day what new adventures you’ve mastered. It’s so much fun reading what you’re doing and what you’re up to.
I think you’ve done an amazing job as referee. I would’ve chased the ball, I guess. No way I would have stayed on that table. :-)
Looking forward to reading more about you and your adventures,
    Pepper

      Hi Pepper,

It’s so nice to meet you! Yep, I would have chased the ball I think when I was a little pup, but now I’m all grown up, I’m 1 you know! :) I’m so happy you’re enjoying reading about my Beardie adventures, I sure do have lots of fun!

I’m gonna go and check out what you’ve been up to buddy,

      Wags to you,

You’re wise beyond your years, or months! :) You’re so right, I wasn’t really in the mood for playing though, just bossing everyone around – Tee Hee :)

      Have a fun day buddy,

      Snoops :)

  9. Amy says:

Snoopy, I like to climb on top of picnic tables when I just *know* mom is hiding my ball up there in her bag. Even though she says she left it at home, I just don’t believe her.

(By the way, my mom fixed her commenting on our blog, so you should be able to comment now!)

    Love,

  16. That’s very cute!

One of my little Shih Tzu boys always jumps onto the bay window in our living room where he spends a good many hours each day.

I’ve always thought that he’s doing that to watch the world go by but maybe he’s also refereeing the cars that pass going eastward and westward, the neighborhood dogs leading their human owners and the kids playing ball across the street.

But whether he’s up there to referee, observe, supervise or snoopy snoop; my little guy will not give up his perch to me or his Shih Tzu brother.
