I mentioned on Friday that I was super excited to be having a play date with my new friend Gracie – woohoo!! Mum even groomed me especially (Mum says I have to look my best for the girls!)
We went over to Gracie’s house and we did the usual excited greeting, we were let off our leads – then the fun really started!!!
I had no idea that Gracie lived with CATS!! She’s got her very own Cat friends – I’ve so wanted to play with a Cat, was this finally going to be my chance? The Cats didn’t seem to agree and kept running away – doh!!

Snoopy, come on, stop watching the Cat, let's play!!! Gracie I'm too excited to take my eyes of him - it's a CAT!! Don't you get it?!

I guess Gracie doesn’t realise how lucky she is to have Cats and just takes it for granted, I so wish we could have got Jack to come into the garden and play with us!! Maybe next time?
The Mums decided it might be a good idea to have our next play date at our ‘cat-free’ house – hmmmm, I dunno why?

This is gracie’s mum. Gracie has been bugging me for a kitty costume to wear at her next playdate with Snoopy. She insistent that her new halloween “ladybug” costume won’t impress Snoop, as she hasn’t seen him chase a single insect. I guess a shopping trip must be in order.

Too funny, Snoops! That’s the thing about cats — they love playing with their own dogs, but not much other dogs who they don’t know. Darby’s cats poke at him and chase him all the time, but they won’t even stick around if other dogs come around. (I think you need a cat of your very own, because they are awesome fun.)

Oh dear….I think we have even greater problems here. Gracie is asking if perhaps Snoopy is ignoring her because she is of “mixed” heritage. We had a heart-to-heart I reminded her of their first meeting and how Snoopy demonstrated he cares about the “inside” personality…not the purebred packaging. We’re back on track now.

You’re pawsome – we hit it off the moment we met (Mum says it was chemistry?) I’m so glad your Mum had a heart-to-heart with you, cos I love you just the way you are and I’m so happy your Mum rescued you and nursed you back to health when you were such a sick puppy!!
You watch, I’ll make it up to you next time, I just need to shake off this silly Cat obsession……!!

Well, actually I did go crazy!! The first Mum knew about a Cat was when I found it in the kitchen and then the Cat, Me and Gracie came sprinting across the lounge at high speed!!! Mum was a little shocked!! That Cat then hid in the bedroom under the bed and then I found Jack in the garden, but he decided to taunt me from the top of the fence!! Doh!!

Wow, you haven’t even SEEN a Cat!! Well, they’re kind of like us Dogs, except they have MUCH sharper claws – And they’re not afraid to use them! One time I got to feel just how sharp their claws are – ouch!!
