Oooops!!
In our family at Thanksgiving everyone says what they’re Thankful For – this was my Second Thanksgiving so I was all prepared.
I was going to tell them how I was so Thankful for all my Family and Friends (Doggies, Humans, even Cats – Oh, forgot they never want to be my friend!). Anyway, that was the plan……
But when it came to my turn, all I could think of was – TURKEY!!! Ooops – I know, it sounds really shallow, but can you blame me? I’d seen it in the fridge for 2 days and I’d smelt it for hours – and I was still waiting patiently to get some…..!!
Yay!! I got some - but Mum said she's gonna ration it as my tummy is still a little delicate as I'm only just off my tummy medicine - doh!!
Dad, are you sure I can't have just a little more? Tee Hee
Anyway, I’m gonna say it now, I am really Thankful for everything and everyone in my life and NOT just Turkey – Tee Hee
Darby was thankful for turkey, too! And he was thankful he had a family who could cook it for him, so it’s almost as good as being thankful for family, right?

I love your logic!! I was VERY thankful my family were able to cook the Turkey – not sure I could have got it in and out of the oven on my own!!

Hey we caught a few minutes of the dog show yesterday on TV and we saw a doggie that looked EXACTLY like you! Mom yelled to Dad, “There is a doggie that looks like Dakota’s friend SNOOPY!!!” Yep, she sure did!
You are lucky that you got turkey my pal. My parents were gone alllllllll day at the football game, then they fed me and my brother and ran right back out again. The nerve! I am hoping to get some turkey this weekend but I am not sure.
Oh and by the way, my kitty brother said HE likes you!

We watched the Dog Show too – it was lots of fun, yep – I think it was one of my cousins on there, plus I also saw one of your cousins – I thought it was you for a minute buddy, but then figured you’d be at home eating Turkey – I was shocked, like you to hear you’d be left in favour of the football!! You poor thing, I think your Mum’s gonna have to make it up big time with LOTS of Turkey – Tee Hee!!
