Monday Mischief Masterclass – Rule No. 5

This rule requires lots of stamina on your part, they may try to trick you or I guess sometimes even show you some evidence, but you have to stay strong, despite their best efforts!! (Yes, I’m talking about the humans! :) ).

It’s essential to always look as if you’ve got no idea what they’re talking about!  Tee Hee

This innocent look is sure to put at least a slight element of doubt in their minds!

Remember, they have to prove you guilty ‘beyond reasonable doubt!’  With a look like this, there’s always gonna be some doubt, how could this sweet thing have been up to Mischief, right?!  Tee Hee

Are you practising your innocent look?

Oh, and just before I sign off – have you seen my portraits that Rocco and Leia’s  Mum kindly did of me?!  She was determined to capture that look of Mischief in my eye!  Tee Hee :)

  2. You look so cute and innocent all the time, how could you ever be believed to be guilty? BOL

I have that same look going. Itcan work to our advantage. Trouble, here we come!

    • Hey Scrappy,

That’s what I think, but unless I put effort into my innocent look I seem to get the blame for stuff, huh?

      Here’s to trouble!! Tee Hee

      Snoops :)

  3. Benny & Lily says:

we agree cause once you say guilty you are taking the blame for moms wrongdoings
    Benny & Lily

  4. That really is a great innocent look. It would convince my Mistress easily, but then she’s a big softy and I have to be caught red-pawed before she will really believe I’ve done anything wrong. I need to go back to writing my lines as I WAS caught red-pawed yesterday!

    • Tee Hee Alfie,

My Mum is really soft too and actually is usually protesting my innocence to Dad, he’s the one I have to convince, but luckily this look can even work on him!! :)

      Have fun buddy,

      Snoops :)

  5. Oh! I think I have your look down already! Definitely an important rule to master! Teehee! :)

    Woofs & hugs, <3

  10. I’ll need to start practicing that look, Snoopy. I know how to look innocent, but when I do something *really* mischievous, everyone knows it. I’ll have to work on that!

  11. I always look guilty, even when I’m not. But if I keep practicing, maybe I’ll get that innocent look down, someday.

  12. Genius as always Snoopy – I’m taking notes! *waggy tail*

I need to learn that look. I am in BIG trouble. I ate part of a cat spring (a bouncy toy my brother Cody passed through the babygate to me)….my Dad is ready to kill me…it is a little springy thingy…my parents are quite upset!

Thank you for sharing the link to your pawtrait!! It is wonderful !! Mom draws too but she never sits her lazy butt down to do any of it! We are now following that blog, thanks for sharing!

    • Hey Dakota,

I’m worried for you buddy!! Quick, have another look at rules 1-5 – implement them all at the same time to try and get yourself out of this sticky situation!! Did Cody pass it on purpose to get you into trouble? Just wondering? Tee Hee – I’m pretty sure rule no. 1 – look cute will get you outta this, cos you’re so cute! :)

I didn’t know your Mum could draw, that’s so cool!! My Mum certainly can’t!! Has your Mum drawn a picture of you?

Good luck and remember forgiveness is easier than permission – Tee Hee

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  14. Dude, talk about the innocent face thing. Now I didn’t do any mischeif this weekend but my Vickie almost got arrested cause of some nasty mischief someone did in a truck that looks like ours.

The police even came today and questioned her regarding a hit and run involving a truck that looked just like ours.

Now I am pretty sure she would stop if she hit someone….I know she would stop if she ever hit a critter.

I was never worried, but she was pretty upset that they suspected her of anything so horrible.

I guess this is a bit more than just mischeif. But she used your “I’m Innocent face” lesson from today and after a bit the officer said he didn’t think she was the guilty one.

Then they decide our truck didn’t have any marks on it, well other than all the dents and rusty places. So for the time being we are off the hook.

I sure hope they find the dirty rotton scoundrel who really did it so My Vickie can relax. It is scary being accused of doing something mischeivious/bad.

    Later Dude,

PS If she goes to jail, can I come live with you.

Bert recently posted..Roo You RockMy Profile

    • Oh Bert,

You know you’re always welcome here Dude, but you know what, that innocent look IS pretty effective and I’m really confident they’re gonna believe your Vicky! I feel really badly for her being wrongly accused, I know how that feels! Tee Hee

AND I really hope the police find the bad person really soon!! Gotta make the roads safe again!

      Later buddy,

      Your pal Snoopy :)

  15. For some reason the innocent look never works for me. I’ve tried to convince my people that Scratchy (the cat) did it but they never believe me.
Bongo recently posted..Under the TreeMy Profile

    • Hey Bongo,

I was thinking, maybe you and Scratchy could become accomplices and then both sit there with your innocent look? That would confuse them! Tee Hee

      Have fun,

      Snoops :)

  16. We’ll be joining you guys at the blog hop after the new year. We can’t wait to share our hiking and other mischief with you guys :)

As far as looking guilty….Gretel and Chester look guilty before we have even figured out what they have done. It’s their guilty look that makes us to find what they did wrong. They definitely need to take a lesson from you. Ha, ha.

    • Hey Jessica,

That’s great news you’ll be joining us on the Mischief Blog Hop – I can’t wait to hear about Gretel and Chester’s Mischief!! Yes, it does sound like they need some practice on that innocent look, no wonder they get busted if they’re always looking guilty?! Tee Hee

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  17. That is one heck of a “What? Not me.” look for sure. Our Border Collie has one that’s pretty good…but not quite that developed. Great shot!
