I’ve grown a bit Mum!

I really LOVE my bed!!

I didn’t  see the point of it originally and still slept on the tiles and mainly just used it for playing in, but these days I even like to sleep in it!!

The thing is, Mum bought it over a year ago and I’m way more Dog than I used to be!!

I’ve noticed that I’m having to do a much tighter ‘Cat Curl’ or maybe I could call it a ‘Dog Donut’?  – Anyway, I digress, the point is I don’t think Mum’s even realised how much bigger I’ve got?!

I have to really concentrate to keep ALL 4 paws inside!

There used to be oodles of room in here!!

Maybe this is the time to really lobby for sleeping on the sofa?  Tee Hee

  1. Woof! Woof! YES it is time … to get a new bed and have the privilege to be on the couch. Happy Wednesday! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

    • Hey Sugar,

Somehow I think the new bed will be easier to attain than permission to get on the couch, but who says you need permission? Tee Hee

      Woofs back,

      Snoops :)

  2. Yes you sure have grown out of that bed Snooopy! Sometimes I think Momma’s just want their babies to stay small. I’d go for the couch thing now if I were you! LOL!

    • You’re right Bassetmomma,

I think my Mum’s gonna call me a puppy and baby me forever!! It’s kind of nice, but not in front of the other boy Dogs!! :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  3. Awww Snoops. Your leg is popping out! Poor little dear. You’re so funny.

Mom, Snoops needs a bigger bed… perhaps you can share yours?

    • Hi There Higgins,

Well, you know buddy, it kind of felt odd saying I was behaving ‘Cat-like’ when I’m a Dog!! I just saw a comment on my Facebook page saying it’s a Dognut!! Now, that’s funny!! :)

      Wags,

      Snoops :)

  7. But it appears to be a well loved bed, very special with you own perfect scent. Maybe a 2nd bed is in order lol

    • That’s a good point!!

What if I didn’t love the new bed as much?! Cos I’ve got this one all nice and comfy just the way I like it now….. hmmmmm!! :)

      Wags,

      Snoops :)

  8. Snoopy you sure HAVE grown!! I agree, either Mum gets you a new bed or the sofa is a completely “safe” zone!

    • Yay Dakota,

I think I’m leaning towards the ‘safe’ sofa and a new bed (cos I love snuggling in it!) – is that an option?! Tee Hee

      Wags,

      Snoops :)

  9. Wow you sure did outgrow your puppy bed! I love the picture of you with your leg hanging out – some humans actually sleep like that in BIG beds! LOL ;)

  10. Wow. Maybe the bed got put in the dryer and shrunk. I would lobby for the couch for sure. A new bed and make sure your mum lets it air dry this time! Tee hee

    • Scrappy,

You could be right, cos Mum does put it in the dryer – I eat all my dinner, so I think I’ve grown too though!! :)

      Lobbying here I come!! :)

      Wags,

      Snoops :)

  11. It makes me think of those rental classifieds that call a cramped apartment “cozy”. Your bed sure looks “cozy” BTW…where is your blankie? You can’t have a proper nap without a blankie :)

    • Hi Jessica,

A blankie? Have you seen how much fur I have?! :) It’s hard enough keeping cool as it is, I don’t think I could handle a blanket – though it does sound all snuggly, maybe if I ever got to go to the snow then I could try out a blankie? :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  12. Snoopy, you should have hit that Santa guy up for a new bed. :)

Looks like it is time to look for a new bed! Maybe Mum will take you to the pet store to help her shop. Be sure to take her past the treat isle. You can’t pass those up!

Yep, she’s been talking about taking me to the store again soon – I’m really good at swiping the treats – well, Mum walks us past quickly and the shop puts them low, so what else am I to do but swipe?! Tee Hee

      Big wags,

      Snoops :)

  18. Maybe it’s not you, Maybe the bed has shrunk over time!!

  20. At least you dont rip up your beds before you dont fit in them like we do…Heh heh heh

    • Hi Debbie,

Nope, I’m really good – previously one of Mum’s Goldens (Harry) did that with 2 beds – Mum stopped buying them after the 2nd time! :)

      Wags,

      Snoops :)

  21. Snoopy Bud, You are really growing too big for the bed. I think the couch suits you more now. The only thing is, it depends on the mood your in when you go to sleep. Sometimes I like to “Donut Dog Curl” and sometimes I like to “Stretch”.

So rather than try and decide which one you want to settle on, just assume they are both for you. I mean, my Human has a bed, a couch and a lazy boy chair.

So I’m thinkin Why not me? Why not You?

I’m thinking the same too buddy, if it’s good enough for the humans then it must be good enough for us, right?! :)

Wags to you and the gang,

      Snoops :)

  22. Little pups do grow up – no matter how much we’d like to keep them little! But it does seem like you’re due for a larger bed there, buddy!

Yep, you’re right, I sure have grown, Mum can only just lift me know – even though I’m mainly fluff!! I think she’ll always call me a puppy though – doh!! :)

      Have fun,

      Snoops :)

  23. Hi from the bloghop Snoopy,

My Mum bought me a bed which I don’t use either! In fact, I just got a sister and she uses it now! So least it is finally being used as a bed!

Hope you have a great day & stay out of mischief hehe
