Would it be a Catastrophe? :)

The other day I had to go to visit my vet for my Annual physical – I’m 2 now and I know that often means getting a shot, so let me tell you I wasn’t as keen as I used to be when I got inside.

It was great though, it turned out to be an Annual Treat Fest – and NO shots!!  Woohoo!!

I have to confess I did think about getting up to a little Mischief – my vet has a CATS door and a DOGS door and I did wonder if it would be funny to use the CATS door?!  Tee Hee

But Mum, don't you think it would be funny just to see what would happen? :)

Oooh - decisions, decisions, which way to go? :)

Thanks to my friend Katie (she’s a Cat) at Glogirly who’s showing us all how to do animated pictures – what do you think Katie, should I have gone in? :)

Yay – it’s Wordless Wednesday, as usual I’ll put the link up as soon as it’s ready for anyone who wants to hop on over to some cool pet blogs – enjoy!!

  3. I don’t think your Mom would think it was very funny, Snoops! It’s probably NOT a good idea to upset your Mom before she takes you into the Vet ~ they have lots of sharp needles in there!

    Have a barkarific day!

Yeah, I got off really lightly on this visit – maybe it was because I was a good boy? :)

      Hope you’re having a fun day :)

Glad you got a clean bill of health.

Too funny and too cool, cat door/dog door… that’s like my human sister’s dr… sick kid door, well kid door!

Wow, animated pics, you guys are so talented.

    • Hey Jet,

Do they really have sick and well kid doors? That’s funny AND clever :)

Yeah, I can tell you I was glad Dr Rick gave me the thumbs up, one time he said I needed to lose a few pounds, that wasn’t good!! This time he said my weight was perfect – no rations on the Carrots for me!! :)

      Hope you’re having a fun day :)

  6. How cool is that animated picture! Happy Wordless my friend!

    • Thanks Bassetmomma,

I leave the messing around bits to Mum and it was her first attempt, I think she needs the background to stay exactly the same to make it perfect, but she’s ‘In Training’ :)

Happy Wordless Wednesday back at you all :)

      Snoops :)

  7. Snoopy,

We’re glad you didn’t have to get a shot! Our vet’s office has a cat door and a dog door too. When you get inside you can see across to the cat side. Even though we like cats, mommy always says our eyes bug out of our heads at the sight of so many cats within such a close distance.

    Happy Belated 2nd Birthday!

Yep, my eyes do something similar (apparently) – I’m too focused to even realize :)

Thanks for the birthday wishes – you’re so sweet

  9. That picture’s so cool! It’s great that you vet has a cat door and a dog door, my human says that’d be a lifesaver BOL! But which door would we go through if kitty sister and I both went?

I think your human is being literal as well!! :)

      That’s a dilemma – I’m so impressed you have a Kitty sister – very cool!! :)

      I hope you’re having a fun day,

  13. HAHA!!! Oh, Snoopy! You’re scarin’ me! ; )
I feel I should warn you. On the other side of that CATS door, about 100 or 200 cats lay in wait. Each with 20 finely sharpened claws. And when us cats go to the VET, we typically don’t display the kind of happy-go-lucky demeanor you seem to be accustomed to.

Walk away, my friend. Walk away.
    ; ) Katie

Nice job on the animation!!! Part two of the lesson is tomorrow! Hope you can come xo
Glogirly and Katie recently posted..Wordless WednesdayMy Profile

    • Ooooh Katie,

Thanks for the warning!! That’s a LOT of sharp claws – I’ve encountered Cat claws one time and I didn’t really like it, luckily I have my shield of fluff, but I think it can only protect me so far…. :)

So, I’m gonna try the walk away approach you mention – the Mischief Maker in me will find that kinda hard….. :)

Glad you liked my animation, I did it to impress you – I’m in ‘try to impress the Cats and then we can be friends’ mode – I’m gonna have to get Mum to work a bit on keeping the backgrounds the same though….she’s trying…. :)

      I hope you’re having a fun day,

      Your pal Snoopy :)

      • ha! You’re going to change my views of dogs, Snoopy!
We just posted part 2 of the lesson. Your mom is right, she needs to get the backgrounds almost identical. If she uses Photoshop and understands layers, she can put one on top of the other and move them around until they match, then crop both at the same time so everything is the same size. Glogirly said she’s happy to help. xo

        • Yay Katie!! Mum says I’m a little charmer, I hope I can charm you into liking me and I’ll do my best not to lick my lips…. :)

Your Glogirly is very talented, my Mum not so much, she’s tried many times to do the layers thing (on Gimp) – even given up lots of valuable ‘play with Snoopy’ time and she still hasn’t mastered it….doh!!

          Hope you’re having a fun day :)

          Snoops :)

  14. My vet is the same way and we almost always leave via the CATS door because the DOGS side is always so much busier

I say the same as Katie = there will be 100-200 cat´s just witing to put their claw´s on your nose ;-)

That’s a good question, I guess they get to decide which camp they’re gonna be in….. :)

      Hope you’re having a fun day :)

  17. Our vet’s office has the dog and cat door too. It’s funny when I went (minus dogs) to pick up medicine I automatically used the dog door even though the cat door was closer! I have to make a concious effort when I go to use the cat door instead. :-)

Oooh – so you’re gonna find out what’s behind the Cat door – careful, I heard from Katie there’s lots of claws….!! :)

      Wags to all,

  18. Well, we all know that the kitties love you – so I think you could sneak in there :) Your mum is going to teach us all how to do animations!!
Julie recently posted..Wordless Wednesday #27- Ashley’s Ode to SunshineMy Profile

    • Hi Julie,

I’m not sure ‘sneaking’ in will really be an option, I think any Cats in there will notice me and my fluffiness straight away :)

Well, I hope my Mum can show you some more animations, she’s learning a lot from Glogirly and Katie, they’re super talented, I think my Mum’s will improve as she gets more skilled, at least she’s got plenty of pictures to play with! :)

      Have a fun weekend,

      Snoops :)

  19. Heh, I think I remember you telling us about that separate CAT door — I think my mommy would vote to keep me OUT of there! BOL

    Woofs & huggies, <3

    ~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)

    • Hey Bailey,

Yep, my Mum votes the same for me too every time – it’s really not easy resisting the urge to try it – just one time!! Tee Hee
