I haven’t been on any Therapy Dog visits in a few weeks now as Mum was away.
I could have gone last Friday, but Mum had just got back and she said I was looking too scruffy!! Doh!! I thought I looked fine….. 
On Friday AND Saturday Mum had me on the grooming table for 1 to 2 hours each time, getting me ship shape again…..
Hey Snoops, weren't you up there yesterday buddy?!
Tell me about it Cosmo, Mum says I've still got some knots she has to get out - doh!!
Yikes Snoopy - there's a mini you in here!!
I'm off before she gets me on that table buddy!!
And she wasn’t finished there….. On Sunday she gave me a bath and then another brushing, so I was finally ready to go for a visit on Wednesday!! Yay!!
It was really cool, I got to see all my friends again at the Convalescent Home – one of the ladies who is blind was petting me for ages and she had the biggest smile on her face
That sure made the time on the table worthwhile!! I LOVE MY JOB!!

Good job Buddy! I bet you r mom took all floooooooofffyyyyyyy parts after your grooming. Well, your still fluffy but the floooooooooooooooooooooofffyyyyyyyy fur is all gone. You’re all pretty now!
Glad to hear you think it’s all worth it. I bet the nice old lady enjoyed the rest of her day after you came in.

Even after grooming there seems to be no end to my fluffiness!!
That fur in the bag was from Day Two, Day One there was even more!!

You make me chuckle!! If you don’t know what a grooming table is then that’s a good thing, cos it means your grooming is either done by yourself, or it doesn’t take your Mum very long….. when it takes a long time, a table becomes involved as my Mum says it saves her back!!
I actually like it on the table, but only when Mum’s doing the easy bits, I even lie down and could fall asleep – that is until she gets to a knot!! Doh!! I try and hide the knotty bits – but Mum’s pretty good at searching…..

You look quite comfy on that grooming table. Kelly wiggles and tugs and pulls and makes the job take twice as long. Also, that’s pretty cool to have an outdoors salon! I’m glad you got to go back to your day job, they must have missed you there.

Yeah, we’d got to the nice bit when Mum took that picture, I’d be quite happy if Mum just brushed my head and back ALL day, it’s really nice!! It’s the paws and belly bits I don’t like and I’m pretty good at wiggling, I also put my Paw up if I don’t like it, it’s my signal to Mum and she gives me a cuddle and does another bit!
I’ve noticed though, when she thinks I’ve forgotten she goes back to the bad bit – doh!!
The outdoor salon is great, I get to watch and listen to what’s going on in the garden, it passes the time

Aww that’s so wonderful how you enjoy making people smile. You make us smile every time we read your posts.
Mom says her last dog used to shed “tumbleweeds” – those floofy puffs of yours reminded her of the twice a day vacuuming she had to do, except your puffs look nice, kinda like clean, fluffy cotton balls.
I’m so glad I don’t make Mom vacuum twice a day – that contraption sure is noisy and BIG!

I’m glad I make you smile too buddy – your cute little face makes me wag!!
Yep, when Mum takes my excess fur off the brush it does look like little cotton balls – the good thing about my breed is that my old fur gets stuck under my outer coat until Mum brushes me, so there’s really not much shedding in the house…. that doesn’t stop Dad always wanting to get that scary vacuum out though, luckily it’s not twice a day, yikes!!

I think it is great that you let your Mommy get you all spiffy for your visits. Mommy takes me to a special lady who does it all for her. I just won’t behave for mommy.

Roo Snoopy – you’re such a good dog for staying on that table! My human works part time in a dog groomers and she says they had a Beardie in today – two groomers with sore arms and three hours later he went out looking brand new after a bath, blow dry and lots and lots of brushing! (my human doesn’t do any of the grooming but she made sure he felt extra welcome, thinking of you!)
My human says I’m lucky I only have to do baths every other months and bi-weekly brushing. That’s more than enough for me – I always ask to skip the blow drying though, I don’t like staying on that table for long! *Waggy tail*

Yay – your Mum was hanging with a Beardie today!!
That sure sounded like a lot of grooming!! Blow Drying – hmmm – I’ve never had to be dried with the blow dryer as it’s always warm here, so we just go for a walk after my bath, and in no time I’m dry…. 
I may not mind it though as I like to lie by Mum when she uses hers and sometimes it blows a little on me…. 
You’re so lucky you only need baths every 2 months, I think I’m gonna move in with you, I have to have them every week!! It’s the rule – booooo to rules!! Tee Hee – Mum and Dad make up all kinds of silly rules….

It really is a win-win, cos I love being able to go out with Mum, I see some of my Doggie friends there (and sometimes the CAT!) I see all my friends at the homes, they give me lots of pets which I love and Mum comes home all happy too cos she gets to share me and everyone is smiling!! Yay!!
