New!! Chance to Win – Walk in Sync Dog Harness and Lead!! Does your Dog Pull? :)

For a long time now, Mum and I have been a big fan of using a harness – I’m on to my third one now, but this one that I got recently is definitely the best!!

It’s made by Walk in Sync – I love it so much I wanted to tell you about it and also give you the chance to WIN one of these great harnesses together with a matching lead.

This is me modeling it – see how the lead clips on at the front of the harness? This makes all the difference to me not wanting to pull which is really important on my Therapy visits….

I walk so nicely in it that Mum was happy for my human cousin (Bradley) who’s 10 to walk me along the road

Unlike my previous harness, this one also has a clip on the back which means Mum can use it when we go running too in the mornings (I like to be ahead, cos Mum’s a bit slow – Tee Hee)

The design means that it doesn’t cut across my shoulders which would restrict my movement.

Another thing Mum loves about this harness is it comes with a matching lead, which has two comfy areas to hold it plus you can clip it to your belt loop, Mum likes this when she needs two hands to deal with the poop bags! :)

There are also videos to show you how to use this system and there are 4 different colors to choose from:

I chose the Blue set :)

Tee Hee – Here’s one of the outake pictures when I was messing about and lay down whilst Mum was putting it on me, then I went all floppy :) It made Bradley laugh (I could tell Mum was trying not to laugh!) :)

If you haven’t tried a harness on your Dog before, this may be a  great time to try one as I’m offering a chance to win  a Harness and Lead System for one lucky entrant!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about Train Human Day which is on Sep 27 2012.  Part of their mission is to make the world more humane for Dogs through the use of humane training tools and education.

The inventor of the Walk in Sync system is Holistic Dog Trainer Alecia Evans who Mum and I were lucky enough to meet recently.  She’s also been kind enough to offer some FREE training tips to everyone!

So, if you have any questions let me know in the comment section below and we’ll set something up where she can answer some of your questions and share her years of experience Training in a Humane manner.

And don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about the PetSmart Sweepstake that has just ended! :)  The lucky winner is:

    • Thanks Deb,

Mum said the outstretched paw was a bit over the top, but I’ve seen those humans on the CatWalk doing their poses at the end of the stage and I wasn’t gonna be upstaged!! Tee Hee

      Hope you’re having a fun day :)

      Snoops :)

  2. My Peoples always have a hard time getting specialty harnesses to fit me right because they say I’m shaped funny. (Aren’t people mean sometimes?) Anyway, I’d love to win a harness like this to try out. I had my peoples enter above. Thanks for hosting this contest Snoops!

  3. I’m not going to enter the contest because we have our own Walk n Sync system and guess what Snoopy…it’s blue, like yours! We’ll be blogging about it soon as well. I’m having a little trouble figuring out how to use it, the proper fit, etc. Once I get that worked out, it should be great. It’s very well made, isn’t it?!

    • Hi Peggy,

Yep, it’s really well made, love the bag it comes in too, did you check out the videos?

We all think Blue is the best color, never seen a Dog Harness in that color before – love it :)

      Have a fun weekend,

      Snoops :)

  4. We always use a harness on Daisy. We feel it’s more comfortable than a collar that can pull too hard on a dog’s throat. Of course, small dogs like Daisy actually do run a risk of tracheal damage from leashes pulling on collars, bigger dogs may not have that risk.

Anyway, we LOVE this harness and would LOVE to win the set! We still have problems getting Daisy to walk properly and not tug, and this harness with its front clasp sounds like it could be the answer we need. Thanks for running the giveaway! And have a great weekend, Snoopy and family! :)

    • Hi Daisy and Daisy’s Mum :)

For me it worked great switching from a back clip harness to a front clip one in order to stop me pulling on my Therapy Visits :)

Thanks for entering and have a fun weekend,

      Snoops :)

  5. don’t enter us, but we just wanted to say great review pal!!!

    • Thanks Mollie,

Glad you like my harness on me, I like to impress you, I don’t think they’ve got Pink – They’ve got Red, Chocolate Brown and Black (in addition to the Blue) – I could see you in the Blue, we’d be matching! :)

      Have a fun day buddy,

      Snoops :)

  8. I have an easy walk harness for Miss Delilah but one of the things I don’t like about it is the hook is on the front, which means the lead is always between her legs and that to me seems very uncomfortable.

As for training tips, I ask everyone I can how to perfect a recall. That is so important to me. :-)
    Jodi recently posted..Follow-Up FridayMy Profile

    • Hi Jodi,

Great question – My Mum would love to teach that to me too, cos she’s a scaredy Cat about letting me off my lead as she thinks I’ll get distracted and chase a Squirrel, Skateboard, Bike, or pretty much anything else that moves!! Huh? :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  9. Like Jodi above, we also have the Easy Walk harness that only hooks in the front. It has definitely helped with her pulling, but it would be nice to have the option to hook it up in the back sometimes.

Looking very handsome in the blue, Snoop!

  10. I can only wear one harness (the Puppia original), because I slip every other one! It’s a good thing my recall’s reliable!

  12. Oh Snoopy, you’re such a gorgeous model. I think the blue your Momma picked out looks so good on you. Gloria is the one that could use something so she doesn’t pull. freddie is having some hip troubles right now so I’m lucky if I can get him to go for a walk. Congratulations to Larrielle P! Have a great weekend buddy! :)

    • Hi Dogs N Pawz,

I know it can be fun pulling your human (my Mum only really likes it when we’re running and we get to a hill, she’d love it if I pulled her up every hill) – but I think it’s a lot easier for the human’s if we’re just walking nicely alongside them :)

Good luck and wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  15. Hey Snoop – take a look at my post today – I have an award for you :)

I knew someone would appreciate my floppy nonsense!! I’m convinced Mum loves it too – she just tries to pretend I’m being silly!! :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  17. Gosh it is too bad that you have to put all the legal mumbo jumbo on your blog giveaway. Sign of the times I guess. :(

That looks like a nice harness system.

Yep I love my harness and lead and it seems the Girlies like the color too! :)

Sorry about all the legal mumbo jumbo, I hate that stuff too, but it’s either that or I can’t do it :(

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)
