It sounds interesting, but I have to say that I think that site’s description of e-collar effects and uses is way, way off. I do not think the trainer has ever tried to properly train with an ecollar.
I understand the idea of a harness for walking, but that is not what an ecollar is for so I do not understand the point that site is trying to make by lumping it into that particular discussion.

Gorgeous picture of you and your mom, Snoopy! I won’t be able to join you for this event, but I hope you will share what you learn. Having a dog breed that is at high risk for collapsed trachea, I am a harness advocate. . . although we are very happy with our back-clip Buddy Belts for reducing shoulder and neck strain and giving the dogs full range of motion. Most importantly, I have not found a front clip harness that my boys could not escape. We continue to train not to pull, but the one problem we have is the overwhelming urge to chase trucks.

Oh I know all about wanting to chase trucks, motorbikes, skateboards, bikes, kinda anything that moves!! I’m 2 now and slowly with some help from Mum I’m learning to control my urge (the word leave is used often – and if I pull I have to sit and wait and then we try again), but I’m still a work in progress, I’ve come a long way from when I was a pup though! My boys have the same feelings about anything that moves, although I mentioned only trucks. We do a lot of sitting too until everyone calms down and is ready to walk normally. I use “leave it” for things they try to eat, but I’ll have to try that with things they want to chase. Thank you for the tip!
