Mum thinks I’m all about the Mischief – what she fails to understand is that sometimes I’m doing a very important job!!

That’s right! I’m keeping an eye on the comings and goings in my neighborhood!! Someone’s got to do it, right?
For some weird reason Mum and Dad don’t think I should be allowed on the sofa – but how do they expect me to keep an eye on everyone if I don’t have a good view?
They just don’t think things through properly sometimes!!

I’ve got the same problem here. How do you patrol the neighborhood when you’re not supposed to be on the couch. I usually have to wait until my person leaves the house.

Our couch isn’t by out front window but we do have a twirly chair that I lay in to observe the goings on. My humans agreed to allow me on the furniture. My dad said if the cats are allowed, it’s only fair to let me on too! Keep up the good work. Woof! Woof!

I have had my own neighborhood watch program for quite some time now – blogged about it a while back. I have my own place in the front window where I can keep an eye on mom and on the neighborhood. Very important job that we have.

I had to overrule my humans a lot right after I was adopted. For a (short) while they had this nonsense about me not being allowed on the bed. Come on, people, get it together…where am I supposed to burrow at night???

You’re doing a great job, Snoopy! You’re so lucky you can see out the window – I’m too small to reach any of them, and none of our couches are in front of a window. I have to wait for someone to pick me up and take me to the window so I can see out. But luckily I do have that big sliding glass door in the back of the house so at least I can keep an eye on all the squirrels, chipmunks and birds!

Humans have been busy doing and going, plus computer “malfunctions” at most inopportune times. ..so I’ve really been missin’ y’all! But I am havin’ new adventures to relate to y’all!
To answer your question, I’d never get on furniture. Besides, my Human was thoughtful enough to be sure the windows are low enough for me to see out standing on my own feet, or even laying down.

Oh Buddy, stop being such a dictator. We wouldn’t allow our doggies on the super duper soft leather couch too… maybe it’s because you have sharp nails that might scratch it.
