A Christmas Therapy Visit – Maybe I should have worn the Santa Hat?

I had a really great Therapy visit with some of my pals today at one of the Nursing Homes we visit.  We even got to see one of the ladies who we haven’t seen in a while, she lived in Vietnam (my human Dad is half Vietnamese) and Mum and her love to chat whilst she pets me.

Here I am with another one of the other ladies we visited.

I can never get too much attention! :)

Mum said I should have put something festive on, I wasn’t feeling it, but when I saw all my friends I was thinking maybe I should have listened to Mum?

Check out Calli and Whistler looking all festive! :)

Everyone was getting ready for a Christmas party, I hope they had a lovely time!

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone! :)

  1. I had to get Christmased up again for my hospital visit today too. She made me wear a bell collar so I jingled everywhere I went. Patients started calling me “Jingle Bert” It was humiliating.

    • Oh Bert,

I’m trying to type this but I’m laughing too much, you’re my buddy and I shouldn’t be laughing, but I can’t help it, jingle Bert!! Haha – Me thinks maybe I did make the right decision not to dress up after all?! Tee Hee

      You’re such a good sport,

      Snoops :)

  2. Woof! Woof! Definitely you made many ladies in the nursing home very happy. That’s great you are able to take photos. When I use to visit schools and nursing home we were not allowed to take photos. Happy 12-12-12 Wednesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

  23. Knowing me and my love of hats (I think it is because I was born in the UK) I would have worn an elf or santa hat but you were fine without a hat. Do you at least have a fun Christmas collar? I have one of those on every day this time of year.

    • Hi Emma,

I’m guessing you shake less than me then buddy? I shake whenever I feel my hair’s messed up and, yep, any hat comes flying off!! Tee Hee

I would try a christmas collar, but you can’t see collars under my fur, but I do have a festive surprise for you tomorrow that I was willing to wear!! :)

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)

  24. It’s amazing how a simple act of petting and interacting can uplift their spirits and make a world of difference. Snoopy you are an angel! You could angels wings on your next visit and be festive all at once!

    • Thanks Christine,

I’ve never tried wings, maybe I could manage them, but I do shake lots when my hair isn’t quite how I like it and they’ll probably come off – however, Mum did come up with something, see tomorrow’s post for a pic! :)

      I hope you’re having a fun day,

While accessories are always appreciated on therapy visits, YOU bring the festivity to your humans by being yourself. Not one resident could resist your sunny disposition which no doubt fills them with holiday cheer. You rock!
