Monday Mischief – Halt!! Who goes there!!

Ever think there’s something dodgy going on that you need to know about?

Just as well I wasn’t sleeping on the job, I take my border security tasks very seriously, sometimes I even bring backup, this day I had Mr Lizard on hand!

Hmmmm, I think there’s an intruder on the perimeter?

I need a better angle, I can’t see anything, but I can smell something?!  You wait there Mr Lizard, I’ll check it out!!

Mum, quick!! Intruder Alert!!

Just as I suspected, it’s that kittie from across the street taking liberties on my turf, she’s always up to some kind of mischief!

Do you have to protect your home from intruders too? :)

Yep, it’s great to have some back up especially when dealing with Cats, you never know what they’re gonna do!! :)

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)

  5. Those cats! Always causing a commotion! Glad Mr. Lizard was there to help stand guard!

  6. Those cats are always full of mischief. And the worst part is they always seem to blame us for what they do.

  7. Thankfully our split level house is designed in such a way that Alma can’t patrol the perimeter – because I know she would take those duties very seriously. The cats are always up on window sills here, but those are purely recon missions – not defensive.

It looks very green and sunny in your neck of the woods!

    • Hi Jen

Poor Alma, I’m sure she’d be way better at homeland security than those kitties!! :)

Yep, we’re super lucky, we get lots of sunshine, nearly every day! :)

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)

  8. Woof! Woof! Definitely!!! I blame the CAT … In our old HI neighborhood they are just mischievous. Happy Monday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

    • Hey Sugar,

Great to see you know too just how mischievous those cats can be, they’re pretty good at getting away with it, which is fine so long as us Doggies don’t get the blame!! :)

  13. Good job Snoopy! I have the same problem here, but I’m not tall enough to see out of our windows, so I can only catch the intruders who I can see from the sliding glass door in the back – and there are plenty of them too! Cats, squirrels, and chipmunks – not to mention birds and ground hogs – are always trying to make mischief on my turf. We have to stay ever vigilant – a pup’s work is never done! ;)

  25. Oh yes, we also have a neighborhood cat that occasionally wanders through our yard, one time this resulted in Delilah pushing her head through the screen door. Monday Mischief indeed!! Have a great one Snoops!

  29. I sure DO have to protect my house from intruders! As a matter of fact, I was barking my head off earlier at the delivery man who dared to knock on our door. I think my bark scared him off though. He didn’t wait for a signature…good thing too, because he could have been an imposter!
Glad you are keeping watch like me….protecting and serving, right Snoopy?

He must have been really scared if he didn’t even wait for a signature, I bark the most at the UPS guy, Mum won’t even open the door now cos he’s so scared, so she goes out to see him through the garage and leaves me inside – doh!!

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)

  30. Are you kidding? My entire LIFE is spent keeping intruders at bay! Real AND imagined ones! BOL!

      I hope you’re having a fun day,

      Snoops :)

  31. You and the lizard are on top of that intruder, Snoopy. The mailman comes to my house just about every day. I try to warn Mom that he’s trying to kill me, but she does not care. She keeps telling me he’s our friend. He is Not. My. Friend.

      Snoops :)

  34. Hi Snoopy! Sorry I am late commenting. You are lucky you can see out the window like that. I can only see into the back yard through the sliding glass door…the front remains somewhat unprotected. I keep intruders like the vultures from our yard. I rarely see a kittie.
