I’m always getting accused of everything around here, does that happen to you too?
Dad’s sock mysteriously had the toes chewed off it, number one suspect – ME?! Huh? I’m not the only one in the family with teeth you know Mum!
Sure Mum I can answer a few questions…..
Sniff, sniff….. nope, never seen them before…..
Erm, nope! I don’t recall having a little nibble on them – Tee Hee
Can you take them away please, they kind of smell!!
Are we done now? I’ve kinda got a few things to be getting on with!! Tee Hee
I’m guessing in the interests of fairness every member of the family received the same interrogation?!

I’m always being accused of things too. My people never believe me when I tell them Scratchy – the cat I live with – did it. Why just today I was accused of getting into the garbage. I don’t know what the big deal was. They didn’t want that stuff anyway.

Actually, I was accused of chewing electrical cords for about 6 months, got in a lot of trouble but then in the end the truth prevailed…I was never caught in the act…but my cat bro Bert was and boy did mom feel rotten! I got lots of good attention to make up for that mistake she made!

Did she measure your teeth to see if it matched? No? Then you must be ruled out. Seriously whoever chewed those socks (was Cosmo over?) did your mom a great service. Those worn out old socks make great dusters!! That’s what I used Hubby’s for.

Good question about Cosmo, he wasn’t here at the right time, but Jane and George the Beagles have been here, PLUS there 2 year old sister, so many suspects – and luckily no, there was no measuring of teeth – phew!

Maybe mom was interrogating everyone so that no one would ever suspect her.
Maya & Pierson love socks. When our socks get worn, we make dog toys out of them. Maya & Pierson don’t get confused between old socks and new socks because new socks are either on our feet, kept in the laundry where the dogs don’t have access, or kept in the dresser drawer. Maybe dad should have put his socks away?

Oh Snoopy–it happens here all the time. When the dog is blamed, it turns out it was the cat. When the cat is blamed, the dog is the culprit. The humans are getting smarter. We heard they will install something called “pet cams”. We hope it’s yummy and has feathers and wands and is chewy!
