Mum tries hard to teach me the rules around here! We’re always battling about whether I should be on the sofa and I do try hard to do what she says!
But I had an idea – what if I can’t actually hear her because I’m sleeping?! That wouldn’t count then would it?
Here I am all nice and comfy – until – I get discovered! Time to put my plan into action! Tee Hee

It took quite a bit of practicing to not even flinch!!
Lee sure is clever, Cosmo tries the deaf thing when we’re supposed to sit at the sidewalk, but Mum doesn’t fall for it!!

I just get on the couch when my people are out of the house. A couple times I’ve fallen asleep and I didn’t get off in time when they came back home. Great job of pretending to be asleep.

Haha Well done Snoopy! I used the same trick, but unfortunately I don’t have any hair covering my eyes to help disguise my being awake. My family tried to keep me off the couch at first too, but I was persistent and eventually they decided it was a battle that wasn’t worth fighting. Hah! One point for us canines!

I always enjoy using my selective hearing…amazingly I can always hear a call or request if there is something edible involved but otherwise, it just depends on what I feel like at the moment. Mom does not find it real amusing!

The art of selective hearing. Ha ha we think the score is Snoopy 1 Mum 0. I am not allowed on the back of the posh sofa but I always go there for a bit of Homeland Security. I get told off every time but I still do it. I ignore peeps too until I get a cushion thrown at me or the stern voice and then hide behind the sofa. It is a tough life my friend.
