Knock, Knock – Who’s there? Actually there was no knock at the door, nor did the door bell ring – but I started barking at the front door as I knew he was there! Mum still doesn’t understand how I knew 
Mum was working on the computer and told me to come to the office window to see there was no-one there and I should be quiet, boy was she wrong!
Guess who was stood at our front door, waiting to see if I could come out to play? Yep, it was Cosmo!
Mum was SO shocked!
Mum brought Cosmo inside our house amidst the chaos I was causing about this unexpected visit from my buddy next door.
I was just wondering if Snoopy would like to play? Tee Hee
Can’t he stay and play Mum?
As she was about to take Cosmo back home, with a lead on this time, one of his human brothers came rushing over, as they’d heard all the barking and wondered if that’s where Cosmo was? An unspecified child had left the gate open at his house and he’d come to play – Great mischief buddy!
Even though he had to go home, he did come back the next day and stayed the whole weekend (this visit was actually a scheduled one!)
I wonder where other Dogs (or other pets) would go if they accidentally got out?

We go hunting deer and turkeys int he woods behind our house. That was great mischief and really people’s fault! Have a good one.

wow…Cosmo is a lucky dog, he has you as his friend…so he doesn’t run away somewhere.
My baby turtles are homey turtles, when I put them outside to catch the sun….they will return home bt themselves afterward. I have uploaded the video of my Kame and Kroten searching for an opened door to get inside our house

I’m glad Cosmo was smart enough to go visit you Snoopy. Some dogs might not have thought to go to a friend’s house and could have gotten lost or hurt.

Yep, he doesn’t wait for a second, I think he snook out as soon as he realized the gate was open and over he came, he did leave some fur on our driveway in his rush, so the little human would have found him pretty soon – Next time he’ll be more careful!!

Cosmo is really becoming a great Mischief Master. You’re a great teacher Snoopy. My person used to meet all kinds of neighbors thanks to me. I’d never run off in the same direction. Unfortunately, she’s caught on to my tricks and I haven’t managed to run off in a long time.

Shame your Mom has worked out your mischief, though I wouldn’t recommend running away, cos apparently we’ve got it pretty good at home and you never know you might get lost and that wouldn’t be good!!

Cosmo looks like a dirty, naughty boy
Chester got out of the fence a couple of times. Both times he was at a house across the street…owned by a nice lady that was always cooking yummy smelling stuff.

Cosmo and I prefer to call it mischief rather than naughtiness!!
As for dirty, I also have to defend him, cos he has what’s called a tricolor coat, so he has a layer of brown around the edges which can make him look less than clean, but his does like to stay clean and dapper for the girlies!! 
I’m not surprised Chester went running in the direction of the yummy food, but it’s not good to run across the road, yikes!!

Good thing that Cosmo knows where to come when he wants to play. Louise and Sofie run next door to Mojo’s house when they get loose. The bad news is they have to cross a street and they don’t look both ways to see if a car is coming.

Cosmo knows where to go for a good time! Little Weirdo got out one night. We looked and looked. The kids held vigil in the front window all night long. At about 5 a.m., he came trotting him like no big whoop. Night on the town, I guess. Thanks for hosting Monday Mischief! Have a lovely day!

How sweet is that, that Cosmo comes to your house when he gets loose? He must feel safe there. And of course he knows his pal is waiting for him. If Brooks got loose, I think he’d come right back to our doorstep. If Kelly got loose, she’d run around like crazy just enjoying the freedom. We have a lot of busy roads nearby, so I am super careful they don’t get loose.

I think most pets stick to what they know but if a dog is far from home we will try to find our way back home. Glad your friend just went to your house and did not get hurt, or stolen or anything.

That was very smart of Cosmo to come for a visit! If my dogs got out…Leah would be next door trying to catch the feral cat colony and Toby would be there too, eating the cat food that my neighbor leaves out. If Meadow saw the gate open I think she’d try to get back in the house out of fear something scary might come through the opening.

My old furiend Barney did that ….he got out TWICE and came over here to play. Mom blogged about it quite some time ago because no one could figure out how Barney got out because he lives on the SECOND floor of an apartment building. Finally the mystery was solved!

Looks like Cosmo knows just where to go! Our dogs wander through all the neighbors’ yards, sniffing everything, before wandering down the street and around the corner. They rarely get past the immediate neighbor’s yard before I realize they’re missing.

So glad Cosmo came to your house and didn’t run off! Once Abby got out our front door, raced across the street (luckily we live on a quiet cul-de-sac), ducked under the neighbor’s barely open garage door, raced through their house, out the back door doggy door, and started playing with their dog – that she’d never met before. Imagine their surprise when a strange dog tore through their house!
