Monday Mischief – Mischief afoot!

If you saw my post on Wednesday you’ll know I was waiting for my human cousins to arrive from the UK for the summer!

The very next morning  Bradley, the youngest one wanted to come running with Mum, Cosmo and I – I was super excited!

Before very long there was some mischief afoot and Bradley ended up flat on his face on the sidewalk – ouch!

Poor Bradley cut one knee and scraped the other, but he was very brave, didn't cry and wanted to carry on!

Poor Bradley cut one knee and scraped the other, but he was very brave, didn’t cry and wanted to carry on!

Looking at how big Bradley’s paws feet are I think he’s having the same problem I had when I was a pup where your feet are too big for your body and they keep tripping you up!

His older brother James (15) has now grown into his feet and he’s a whopping 6 feet 1 inch tall this summer, he sure wasn’t that tall last summer!

Cosmo, where supposed to be sitting pretty and at least looking kinda in the direction of the camera dude! :)

Has anyone else tripped over their paws/feet too?

    • Hi Novroz,

Yep, I sure hope you don’t trip on the turtles – Bradley is a trooper and was up and ready to run again in seconds! :)

      Have a fun day

      Snoops :)

Poor baby. Welcome to the USA. Good job…keep running

    • Thanks Benny and Lily

      He’s training for a race, it’s his first official 5k – it’s in a few weeks, I think he’s excited! :)

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)

  4. Ouch! Glad to hear that Bradley was ok after his fall! I’ve done that too many times to count and I don’t even have big feet!

  6. Don’t pull too much mischief on Bradley until he gets over that trip. And then I think you’d better give him some good mischief lessons.

    • Hi Bongo,

You know what, I think he’s good with mischief, cos he’s read my book multiple times, he even takes it to school and his teacher said she loves it, so he gave her a copy as her end of year gift, I think she cried! :)

      Big wags,

      Snoops :)

  7. Poor Bradley. He was very brave! Hopefully he will have more pleasant runs this summer.

    • Hi Sue,

Uh oh, hope you didn’t hurt yourself too badly! I have to note I wasn’t near him when he fell – he did fall hard, so Mum was relieved it was just his knees that got hurt….

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)

  9. Hi pal! I never had any issues with my paws even though I do have pretty big paws but I used to trip over my ears when I was a young pup. Mom said it was really funny, I did not find it funny at all! I did grow into them over time and no longer have that problem :)

I’m sorry to laugh, but I’m imagining you tripping over your ears, does your Mum have any video?! :)

      Big wags,

      Snoops :)

  10. Yikes, we remember there visit last summer Snoops, he’s nearly as tall as a tree..BOL Poor Bradley, I hurt my paws last week, they all healed now so his won’t take long. xx00xx

I’m so happy to hear your paws are feeling better buddy, I was weally wurried about you!! :(

Haha as tall as a tree, you know you’re right, I have to look up super high to get his attention!!

      Have a fun day

      Snoops :)

  11. Wow the boys sure have grown! I think Bradley will join his brother in height. What a shame Bradley took a fall during his first run, but he’s a tough guy (we gals can tell!) and we’re not surprised that he stuck it out. Snoopy is a great healing force too, I’m sure he’ll take Bradley’s mind off his cuts and scrapes. :)

    • Hi Daisy

You’re so sweet buddy! :) I did my best to encourage Bradley to carry on, I offered to challenge him to a race and he’s as competitive as me, so he accepted! I even let him win! :)

Yep, I have a feeling they’re both gonna be pretty tall!

      Have a fun day

      Snoops :)

  12. I have tiny feet, so not me. But Torrey did as a pup.

  13. Well he at least is one brave boy. 6 foot plus …yikes that is tall. Have a marvellous Monday and stay cool.

  18. I think everyone, at some point, trips over there unusually large paws – both human and canine. BOL That said, Ma has been tripping over her flip-flops of late…I think it is just old age though.

  19. Oh, goodness, yes. Both Rita and I have tripped over our own feet. I remember being at that stage where I hadn’t grown into my feet yet! Finally got to 5’11” and things balanced out! :) As for Rita, she was so clumsy as a pup, it was the main reason we got vet insurance for her!
Jackie Bouchard recently posted..Monday Mischief: We Do Have SOME Rules Here at The SpaMy Profile

    • Haha Jackie,

Funny you mention about having to get insurance for clumsy Rita – My Mum has always made sure James and Bradley have insurance before they visit – she was very thankful the first year when she had to take Bradley to the ER to get stitches in his forehead and chin after a skateboarding mishap! :)

      Stay safe guys

      Snoops :)

  20. Ouch! Glad that Bradley’s all right – sounds like he’s very brave. :)

Thanks for the Twitter response, by the way, Snoopy! I’m May the K9 Spy’s publicist, and we’re thrilled to have the chance to share about her latest adventures as an author (including a super fun scavenger hunt for her blog tour!) with you all. :)

Have a great and mischievous Monday!

    • Hi Amber and May

So glad you came to join in the mischief over here!! :) It’s great to meet you both and learn about your adventures too!

      Have fun,

      Snoops :)

  21. Be careful, Bradley! When Mom first adopted me, she swore I was trying to kill her. I was zigging and zagging all over the place on my leash. Mom had to stop and start and twist and twirl. Then she took me to obedience school. She says it’s the best money she ever spent…..

    Love and licks,

I’m glad your Mom got you all sorted out so you didn’t actually kill her buddy!! I remember those days too though – Tee Hee

  22. Special sniffs and greetings, Snoopy!

It’s me, May the K9 Spy

Humans don’t have much fur, so the boo boo’s really show up. OW Bradley!

I had lots of bangs and bruises during K9 Spy boot camp, but it was part of the territory and sooooo worth it! BOL!

Thanks for the bark out today and including me in the blog hop. I’m thrilled to find you.
Let your readers know too, tomorrow is Terrific Tuesday since my second eBook will be FREE through Saturday! PAWSOME!!

Off to make my own mischief, love to hear from y’all any ol’ time!

    bye for now,
:* from May the K9 Spy

    • Hi May,

I hope you’re recovered from all your bangs and bruises buddy! :) I’ve downloaded your book and I’m really excited to read it!!

      Have a fun day

      Snoops :)

  23. I’m glad Bradley was okay. Just part of growing up, unless your a klutz like me, in which case the tripping over your own feet thing is a lifetime experience. ;) Maya and Pierson get tripped up sometimes too. I don’t care for the hardwood floors because they slip on them. At the same time, I don’t care for the carpeted floors either because they shed on them!
Dawn recently posted..How My Dog Maya Got Her NameMy Profile

    • Hi Dawn,

Uh oh tripping over your feet forever doesn’t sound like much fun! I know what you mean about the hardwood, we have it in the kitchen, so I stay out and watch what’s going on from a distance!

      Wags to all

      Snoops :)

  24. Good on him for carrying on, I bet it won’t be long before he grows into his feet!

  25. Snoopy you sound like you’re having heaps of fun! Happy woofs!

  26. Isn’t it the most amazing thing how boys grow? I swear our son grew at least a foot taller in one year when he was that age. Enjoy your visit with the boys Snoopy!

    • Hi Amy and Toby,

It sure is fascinating – James said he was that tall now before he came, but I don’t think Mum could believe it until she saw him with her own eyes!

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  27. I bet Bradley will catch up to James faster than you can get into mischief. (Well, maybe not THAT fast)
