I wondered when you’d notice! :)

Lately I’ve been spending a lot of time in the garden, Mum thinks it’s too cold out there, now it’s not super hot anymore, I disagree, I think it’s perfect!

Anyway, sometimes I want to get Mum’s attention cos I’m trying to get her to come out and play with me….

The other day I found Dad’s flip flop by the door, this always gets her to come out and then I run away with it and she chases me! Excellent game! :)

"Finally, you decided to look out the window Mum, I've been waiting her with this flip flop for ages!" Come on, let's play chase me around the garden! :)

“Finally, you decided to look out the window Mum, I’ve been waiting here with this flip flop for ages!” Come on, let’s play chase me around the garden! :)

Does anyone else have to wait patiently until their humans notice there’s a game of chase to be played? :)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday! :)

  1. It depends on how you define patiently, Snoopy. When subtle hints are not taken, I usually end up with some sort of slimy chew or slobbery, wet toy in my lap… And once I jump up to brush it off, I suppose I might as well play!

    • Hi Michelle,

Yeah the problem (advantage) here, is they’re not actually ‘my’ flip flops, hence the game of chase that follows! Tee Hee

  7. Very cheeky. Looks like a game of chase is on the cards though. Happy WW

  9. Oh no Snoopy I do not wait patiently! My mischief of choice is socks, be they clean or dirty. I like to get right in front of my peeps and wag my tail until they say “Sock dog!!!” and then I know the chase is on! Outside is best, I agree with you, but socks are usually available indoors only :(
    Your pal, Toby

    • Hey Toby

Sock dog sounds like a brilliant game, maybe I need to bring it in around here, I don’t think I steal anywhere near enough socks right now! Thanks for the tip! :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  10. Oh Snoopy…I think you and Toby were littermates in a past life. He does the same attention getting game with my slippers. :-)

    • Hi Donna,

Yep, slippers are great too! Toby is a very clever doggie! :)

I love the bit where you pretend they can just come and get it, and then you quickly pick it up and run away as they approach, Mum falls for it every time! :)

      Have fun,

  14. Haha! That’s hilarious! I love how clear dogs can be when they want something :) Alma will just put a toy on your lap, and Moses will sit by the door and sigh loudly.

    • Hi Jen,

When Cosmo comes over he does the whole bringing the toy to you thing, I’m much more subtle, if I’m indoors I wait with it and put my butt in the air all ready to run the second Mum notices it’s game on! :)

      Have fun guys

      Snoops :)

  15. Snoopy you are the master mischief and a very patient one at that. Play bows to you my fine friend. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

  18. Boomer has a different way to engage play, he likes to bring you shoes from your closet and drop them in your lap or drop his food bowl at your feet. If you don’t get up he will empty your closet of shoes and then sit and stare at you. I think your way sounds more fun though!
Emily @ Adventures of a Dog Mom recently posted..Wordless WednesdayMy Profile

    • Hi Emily

Boomers game sounds like a lot of fun!! Mum had one pair of shoes that I used to bring from the closet, but they seem to have vanished, maybe she’s now playing hide and seek with me and I just need to look harder?! :)

      Have fun

      Snoops :)

  19. Snoopy, you have such a nice, warm coat. Mum should know that you’ll be fine. It’s not like there’s snow on the ground or anything.

      Have fun
