Monday Mischief – Stuffy Outside!

Did you see my post last week where I showed you the new toy my buddy Alfie gave me for Christmas?

He’s a Gingerbread man, and I was starting to feel a bit bad cos I was neglecting him in favor of The Big Yellow Thing.

I decided to show him a little special love, take him on a bit of mischief with me that no other stuffy does!

Yep, I brought him OUTSIDE!  I’m not really sure if it’s mischief or not if you break your own rule (Yep, the no stuffies outside is my rule, not Mum and Dad’s), but anyway, Gingerbread Man understood he was getting special attention!

First I took him onto the deck for a little R & R.....

First I took him onto the deck for a little R & R…..

Then I heard my buddy Cosmo next door barking "Quick gingerbread man, we've gotta go!"

I introduced him to Cosmo (through the fence!)

It was quite a tour I gave him!

Then I even let him watch me in action - on patrol!

Does anyone else take stuffies out into the garden? :)

  3. I love to take my stuffi toys outside, but if it’s raining my Mon bring them into the house again. Otherwise they will be disgusting, she says.

    • Hey Laika

I understand buddy, luckily here we rarely get any rain, so I don’t have to worry about him getting and unexpected shower! :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  4. Poor little doll. You shouldn’t abandon him like that Snoop ;)

I know, I felt bad later, especially when he vanished! I thought the birds had taken him, then I found him all snug and safe in my toy box inside! Phew!

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  5. OH dear, our Tino used to have a regular routine where he took his stuffies outside and scattered them across the yard. He brought all his friends out to play with him.

  6. Chester and Gretel don’t take stuffies outside. Gretel likes to take her Kong out to pee with her though. It’s super cute when she keeps it in her mouth while she is peeing. It’s not so cute when she leaves it outside and I have to go get it :)

I don’t think my Mum would be happy about that either! I never take stuffy’s out for potty break time, way too much to think about! :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  7. My person’s favorite thing to say before she lets me outside is “Drop it!” She won’t let me take any of my stuffies outside. A long time ago I used to get away with it and then I didn’t have any toys left in the house.

  9. We have the no stuffies outside rule at our house too, so no. One time Mom thought I was naughty and took my Bunny out, but I had a real wabbit in my mouth!

  10. Mom doesn’t let us take stuffies outside because it’s too muddy. But worse, for Tucker, Mom doesn’t let him bring his hard rubber ball inside. He always asks, though, and she always says no. It’s not that bad, though, because Tucker has a squishy squeaky balls to play with when he’s inside. But still.

  12. I don’t have a garden :) Just a courtyard, but I don’t take my stuffies there, just my ball :) Barks and licks and love, Dakota

    • Hey Dakota

      So you’re a ball guy, hey? :)

I’m not really into balls, though if they have a squeak they’re kinda fun to chew!

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  13. I love your new toy, and I’m sure Gingie enjoyed playing outside with you and being given a personal tour around! I don’t stay out in the yard long enough to bring a stuffy with me, I prefer being indoors, and I believe my toys prefer the indoors too! The only time I’m outside for a long time is when my family takes me somewhere new to explore, and there’s no time for play then!
PS -BTW, I love your little hair “poof” in profile – it’s so cute!

    • Hey Daisy

I love that you called him “Gingie” – I’ll let him know his new name! :)

I’m not sure I’m happy you thought my hairdo was a “poof” – it sounds a little girlie and Mum had assured me I wasn’t looking girlie – doh! :)

      Wags to all,

      Snoops :)

  14. Moses and Alma have similar regulations – inside toys stay inside, and outside toys stay outside! But adorable that the gingerbread man got a special exemption! The photos of carrying him around are adorable!

Mum’s always following me around with the camera, I was hoping for some alone time with gingerbread man – doh! :)

      Snoops :)

  15. Oh yes my brand new Mr Monkey went for a walk with me last week and now he is all muddy and needs a bath. Peeps was none to happy about it. Have a marvellous Monday.

I often take my stuffies outside and leave them on overnight guard duty. But then Mummy brings them in and waterboards them for info!! She’s a meanie

  18. Snoopy, that is the cutest mischief I have seen in a while. I do not bring stuffies out into the garden as I have plenty to do outside with all the lizards and such in my backyard. I sure hope you and Gingerbreadman had a good day.

  21. LOL! You are so sweet and silly, Snoopy! I bet your gingerbread man enjoyed his tour and meeting Cosmo too. ;)

Sometimes Petal is allowed to take her stuffies outside, depends on the stuffie. Our yard isn’t landscaped, so some stuffies get much dirtier than others when they venture outside! We usually just take the rubber toys out, ’cause they rinse off easily.

Thanks for hosting the hop, Snoopy!

  22. Snoopy I love to take my stuffies out but I always forget to bring them back in. Recently a terrible thing happened. I had two stuffies on the deck and they froze solid onto it! I tried and tried to get them but they were stuck tight. I guess winter isn’t a good time to leave stuffed toys outside. Your pal, Toby

  23. We don’t have a yard so it’s usually not an issue but normally when we go outside, they only get their outside toys like rubber balls.

  31. That’s definitely some mischief there, Snoopy. When the weather is nice and I leave the back door open, I have to be vigilant about Maya and Pierson taking their toys outside. Once they get outside, they generally get forgotten and ruined.
