Monday Mischief – How to Train a Lion Cub!

Mum thinks I’m always messing about doing nothing but mischief!

Actually, sometimes I’m doing some very important work!

Take this week for example, I’ve been very busy training my Lion Cub, no easy task, I’d like to see Mum try….. :)

First things first, it's very important how you hold the cubs, they've got very sharp claws, I find it usually best to hold them by one of their legs when in transit!

Talking of their sharp claws, sometimes I find it best to chew them a little to keep them short!

I've also been known to throw in a little leg massage before class begins!

Lenny (my Lion Cub), is very good at following my every move!

Here I am teaching him the correct position for a belly rub!

Finally, it's snuggle time, I recommend keeping classes short, as the cubs get tired pretty fast!

Next lesson I may teach him some mischief?!  Tee Hee

Anyone else been busy with training this week? :)

    • Hey Dakota

You can borrow my Lenny any time, I think he’s well trained enough now to even go to a real football game if you want to take him! :)

  20. Wow, a pedicure AND a massage – that lion cub is getting some special spa services there! No wonder he does so well in his lessons after all that pampering! (Rita tried to train Reggie to run the hurdles, but you’l see that didn’t go so well on Pooch Smooches!)

  22. Lenny is definitely getting an important education at your house. You’re smart to keep his nails nice and short by nibbling them. Saves a trip to the groomer.
